We have a long podcast for you this week. I chat a bit about the logo contest, review the Intec starter kit in my first mobile podcast, and Cara is back for another episode of the Scene! I had much more planned but some technical difficulties with Garageband forced me to limit this podcast to 30 minutes!!!

If you would like to give it a listen you can either download it directly [mp3 33min 7.5mb], or subscribe to the podcast RSS feed in your favorite aggregator. You can find the link to the podcast RSS feed in the sidebar. Enjoy!

  1. The podcast was cool. I liked the mobile podcast part but, it seemed like you should have been interviewing someone because it sounded live. I could hear you well. I know you had some worries about that. Other cool news my Sharpreader just let me know that this podcast was available. The best part it wasn’t from your feed but from PSP Gardens. Oh and about the Garageband stuff. You might try a demo of Ableton Live, Cubase, Logic or one of the expensive audio production suites. A lot of times they will let you record but not multiple tracks. I know that you don’t need more than one though so it shouldn’t be a problem. I know that even my Creative Labs soundcard came with a recorder too. Keep up the good work.

  2. Another great podcast! Too bad you weren’t able to include the review of Rengoku. I’d like to hear that next weak, or even this weekend!
About the quality of the onroad podcasting: it’s actually pretty good. I’ve been checking out PSP Drive this week too and downloaded some of the other podcasts there (GameRadio and HackADay podcast) The quality of your podcast compared to these…? Oh man. The quality of your podcast is absolutely fabulous and the others are really crappy. The onroad podcast part is “good”, compared to other podcasts. I don’t really mind if you continue podcasting from your car. Of course, the quality is a bit less, but it’s not bad at all!
Cara did another great job. I’m following the PSP news every day (I spend about an hour per day, I guess) but still you keep coming with news things. The Socom 3 connectivity with the PS2, the Coca Cola PSP (haha) Really impressive!

Keep up the good work, and I hope to hear from you soon. A special weekend episode of PSP podcast would be awesome (HINT :P)

  3. I posted my comments in the forum, and Gringo enlightened me to the comment system out here! *sigh* Anyways, I pretty much agree with everything Gringo said. The quality is absolutely crystal clear for the in-studio part, and the stuff in the car wasn’t bad. In fact, as I listened and got used to the background noise, I found myself forgetting you were recordning on the road. This was my very first experience with a “podcast” since I do not own an iPod, and it was a very good experience. Keep it up!

  4. Another good PSP podcast. Keep “The Scene” coming, Cara’s doing a good job. I like being able to keep up with the news while biking/hiking (away from the web).
