Streaming – that incredibly popular and lucrative pastime that never completely craps the bed with bottom-feeding personalities and disgusting audiences – racked up some big news items this week. Mixer is now Mixoff. Unmixed? Separated? Microsoft is pulling the plug and a steaming pile of streaming piles are about to be without a home. Cue Twitch singing “Back in Baby’s Arms.” Pretty much a matter of contractual time before Ninja announces he’s back on Twitch, right? After all, Twitch took this VERY SUSPICIOUS moment to finally ban Dr. Disrespect, like they should have about two minutes after the very first time he put on that embarrassing wig and even worse persona! So, Twitch’s big money-out will likely be offset by even bigger Ninja money-in! It’s just impossible to look up to any part of this industry.
